How will I know if my team has been accepted?

Accepted Answer

Once you have completed registration for all your teams, you will receive an invoice from Texas Sports Group. You will need to pay the invoice (within 5 business days) - when TSG has received payment you will receive an email confirming your acceptance to play in the league.

Question 2

Can a team be registered to play up in an older age group?

Accepted Answer

Yes – during registration the club registrar may select an older age group for any of the club teams. Please note that the club will be invoiced for the age that each team is registered to play. The club or the head coach may also be contacted by the league to confirm the play up.

Question 3

Does my team need to have a GotSport account to register for this league?

Accepted Answer

YES – if your team DOES NOT currently have a GotSport account you will have to contact your Club Administrator to create one. You MUST be a team from a Club, or affiliated with a Club, to play in the league.

Question 4

Do all players need to have a USSSA Player Card to play in the league?

Accepted Answer

YES – all players must have a current USSSA Player Cards - any player without a valid player card that plays in a game may be deemed to be an illegal play, and disciplinary action may be initiated against the team and/or club involved.

Question 5

Are USSSA Player Cards good for the Fall and Spring Season?

Accepted Answer

YES – any USSSA player card purchased in the Fall is good for both the Fall and Spring seasons. If the USSSA player  card is purchased in the Spring, then it is only good for the Spring season.

Question 6

Does the league allow “Club Pass Play”?

Accepted Answer

YES – The league does allow Club Pass Play, but only players registered with USSSA are eligible for Club Pass Play and the league Club Pass Play policy must be followed. The maximum number of Club Pass players allowed on a roster is THREE, and no player is allowed to play more than TWO games on the same day.

I coach more than one team - how can I make sure that I do not have schedule conflicts?

To minimize game conflicts, coaches with multiple teams should ensure that the name of the head coach in GotSport for the league is correct  for all of their teams . The league organizers will work to minimize coaching conflicts but may not be able to avoid all conflicts. Coaches assigned to a large number teams (3 or more), should consider contacting the league organizers to set priorities for their potential game conflicts.

When will the schedule for the league be issued?

The schedule will be issued as soon as possible after registration has closed. Typically the schedule is published about 1 week before the first play date form the league
